In what could only be described as a closet Zionist, an Israel apologist and sycophant speaking to one of her biggest donors, NY’s Governor Kathy Hochul, again, gives the world an insight into her violent proclivities but also to her loyalties. In speaking to the UJA-Federation of New York, to resounding applause, she suggested a nuclear response to be measured and appropriate if Canada were to attack Buffalo. Given her October 19, 2023 “Solidarity Trip” to Israel, less than 2 weeks after the October 7 Hamas incursion, her comments are an endorsement of Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Her exact quote:
If Canada someday ever attacked Buffalo, I’m sorry my friends, there would be no Canada the next day. That is a natural reaction. You have a right to defend yourself and to make sure that it never happens again. And that is Israel’s right.
Realizing how offensive it was, she backtracked with the following:
Using an inappropriate analogy that I now realize could be hurtful to members of our community,” apologizing for her ‘poor choice of words.’
While I have been clear in my support of Israel’s right to self-defense, I have also repeatedly said and continue to believe that Palestinian civilian casualties should be avoided and that more humanitarian aid must go to the people of Gaza.
Her apology doesn’t go far enough; it couldn’t and completely misses the point. She is incapable of the sentiments expressed in her “apology”. It isn’t “our community” here, safe within the US, but the suffering, sick, maimed, orphaned, displaced -and murdered- Palestinians of Gaza and greater Palestine who are on the receiving end of her remarks!! What a heartless imbecile! After the ICJ proximately accused the Israelis of a genocide, she makes these remarks!
The mask is off, and she showed her true colors in what Freud would classify as a “slip”. Blathering on as she did without realizing it, as is what happens during such an episode or “conscious free association” the brain, unfettered and undeterred, reveals the individual’s true beliefs and intent.
